BVR-100 Bike Helmet Camera
If you are a regular rider upon two wheels, the BVR-100 Bike Helmet Camera is the perfect addition to your helmet. Designed for Cyclists and motorbike riders alike, this helmet camera is made for capturing the thrills, the spills, and all of the action of your ride.
Whether you’re looking to create a highlight reel of tearing up the trail, racing up the road, or collect evidence of the danger which drivers put you in, the BVR-100 Bike Helmet Camera will be there to shoot the footage and let you relive your ride.
Whilst many cars and van drivers will now utilise dash cams for insurance purposes, it’s now becoming a necessity for cyclists too. Not all road users are going to be courteous and whilst that’s a real shame, it simply comes to be expected when cycling out on the road. There’s no need to worry though, as the BVR-100 Bike Helmet Camera has your back and will allow you to playback the events and see exactly who is at fault should you be involved in an accident.
It’s not all doom and gloom though, this helmet camera is not just for road cyclists, it’s also great for mountain bikers out on the trail, road cyclists taking part in a sportive, and motorcyclists looking to watch back those they’ve cruised across.
A sunny ride is something we all hope for whatever two-wheeled machine we are set upon. However, we should be so lucky. We know that sunny days aren’t always guaranteed, and rain is sometimes inevitable. For this very reason, the BVR-100 Bike Helmet Camera is IPX5 waterproof and designed for all-weather use, which means it can hold its own against a rain shower and splashback as you ride through puddles.
Recording footage onto a Micro SD card (not supplied), the camera can accept cards from 4GB to 128GB, meaning there’s plenty of storage to keep the footage rolling. For instance, an 8GB card can provide you with 1 hour, 20 minutes of footage, a 16GB card can provide you with 2 hours, 40 minutes of footage, and a 32GB can provide you with 5 hours, 20 minutes of footage.
To ensure the camera keeps rolling, there’s a built-in rechargeable battery that can be used with all kinds of separately available power banks to ensure you never run out of juice. Whilst if you are on your motorbike and have access to a 5V power supply, you won’t need to worry about battery charge at all, as the camera can be constantly powered – meaning it’s always there, powered, and available when you need it.
With a 120° field of view, the camera features ultra-wide abilities, meaning it can record at a wider angle and see the bigger picture rather than filming just what is right in front of it.
Whilst the f1.8 glass lens is made for shooting footage in a whole array of conditions. Letting more light in, it is even great for filming in low light conditions. So whatever the conditions out there on your ride, you can still film the footage you require.
Recording in 1080P, the BVR-100 Bike Helmet Camera provides the full HD picture quality you can expect of a modern camera. There will be no fuzzy pictures or pixelation, just fine quality without the need to guess what you are watching back.
When you return from your ride, your captured footage can simply be transferred from the camera to a computer via the included USB cable or by popping out the Micro SD card (not supplied) and inserting it into another device.
Mounting the camera to your helmet is a breeze. Included with the product is a mount-base, simply insert the device into this and then use the self-adhesive pads to attach it to your helmet. The device can then be adjusted and positioned to your desired angle so that you can capture the exact footage that you require.
As it is a sophisticated device, there are a number of safety reminders for you to consider and get the most out of using your BVR-100 Bike Helmet Camera. For optimum performance, there is a microphone hole on the side of the device, do not intrude with any sharp objects, otherwise, the camera’s waterproof abilities will be compromised.
Whilst to avoid the moisture in the air to defect the device, it is recommended to perform dehumidification on the device regularly each month, to do this you can put the device in a moisture-proof box or next to your dehumidifier. And if there is any abnormality, crash, or abnormal light during use, please press the reset button on the back of the recorder, the recorder will shut down, and normal operation can be resumed at this time.
